With a pair of night kickoffs in week two and week three vs. Southern Miss and Florida, Auburn won't have another night kickoff at Jordan-Hare Stadium this season . . . It is comical to listen to a man who enjoyed the treatment we typically reserve for visiting heads of state while coaching teenagers and 20-somethings in a game now sit before our nation's lawmakers and bemoan the fact that players are getting gobs of money . . . The Tigers gained their eighth commitment since summer official visits began . . . Auburn football landed its 16th commitment . . . With Ramsier on board, Auburn now sits at 15 verbal commitments . . . He becomes the fourth offensive line recruit, and second blue-chipper at the position, to join Auburn's 2027 recruiting class . . . On Monday, the Tigers picked up a commitment from four-star interior offensive lineman Reed Ramsier . . . It was a really good week last week for coach Alex Golesh and the Auburn Tigers on the recruiting trail following the first big official visit weekend . . . Auburn could have two more players added to its 2027 class in the near future . . . On Sunday, new Auburn head coach Alex Golesh sent out a series of cryptic X posts that seemed to insinuate that the Tigers had landed six total recruits on Sunday alone. On Tuesday, the fifth domino in that recruiting effort fell . . . The latest addition to Auburn's 2027 recruiting class is three-star cornerback Aidyn Wiggins, who took an official visit to the Plains on May 29 . . . The Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, native is ranked in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite as the No. 2 kicker . . . He's the second running back to join Auburn's 2027 class . . . "You come to Auburn, you come to this conference because you want real expectations . . . "He's great at what he does . . . If the Tigers can make good on their own projections for themselves and each other, they will be a scary sight to see on a schedule in 2026 . . . "Out of the 13 that got in the portal and then chose to come to Auburn, 11 of them are on offense, two are on defense . . . "This whole place, they care about football . . . Golesh said he wants the team to be physical and mentally tough, two traits he believes Auburn football was built on . . . The Tigers' home opener against Southern Miss is scheduled to kick off at either 6:30 or 6:45 p.m. CT on Sept. 12. The game will be televised on either SEC Network or ESPNU. In Week 3, Auburn will open SEC play against Florida. Kick off for that game is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Sept. 19 . . . "He is the perfect fit for what Auburn is going to run . . . "The College Football Playoff is literally the last thing I've thought about since taking the job at Auburn . . . No one within the program seems to be worried about how Brown throws the ball . . . He was the No. 1 overall class of 2023 prospect from Maryland, as well as the third-best edge rusher in the entire class . . . The 5-part documentary series follows Auburn High football through offseason preparations, introducing viewers to the coaches, players, expectations, and pressure surrounding a program still chasing its first state championship . . .
