Bleacher Report The Tigers signed six offensive linemen . . . Rivals lists Auburn assistant coaches Curtis Luper and Trooper Taylor among its Top 25 recruiters for the 2010 signing class . . . Chizik and his fellow coaches have made provable, tangible gains in their quest for national relevance . . . If Newton wins the starting job, and I assume he will, no single player will have a greater impact on the team . . . Recruiting in this state is once again a real fight . . . It is easy to imagine Auburn challenging for the first-ranked offense in the nation and likely will be the number 1 offense in the SEC for 2010. It is something for Auburn fans to watch and expect . . . The 6-foot-6, 330-pound Region planned to commit to Alabama, his favorite school since childhood, but he changed his mind . . . Powers, because of foot surgery he underwent after Indianapolis' AFC divisional round victory over the Baltimore Ravens, is questionable for today's Super Bowl against the New Orleans Saints.
